Since leaving the Ruskin I have been studying in London on a Masters at the Courtauld Institute of Art. Finding space to work and maintain a practice was initially difficult alongside my studies. I applied for a job as a ceramic assistant for the artist Peter Mahoney in early January and since have been working at his studio developing glazes alongside his practice. Utilising both reduction and electric (oxidation) kilns, through my experiments we have gained an insight into the reactions and colours that each produce.
Dimensions and glazes variable, all pots are made with a speckled stoneware clay.
